Pound Dribbles Double Crossover Basketball Dribbling Drill

Pound Dribbles Double Crossover Basketball Dribbling Drill

You have most likely heard of the ball-handling basketball drill called pound dribbles, where you simply dribble the basketball with one hand as hard and as quickly as you can for 20-30 seconds. For this drill, instead of just pound dribbling the basketball the whole time, you will add in a double crossover move. That way, you can make the basketball drill a little more difficult and work on going from dribbling the basketball to quickly making a combo move.

The pound dribbles double crossover dribbling drill is going to help not only develop your handles, but it will also work specifically on the double-cross move. When you do this stationary one ball basketball dribbling drill, make sure that you visualize the defender in front of you when you do the move. Really sell the double crossover move with your eyes, body, etc. That is going to be the key to getting your defender to fall for it.
