This catch and shoot basketball shooting drill will help players work on shooting on the move and also to work on some conditioning. Shooting on the move is a completely different feel from shooting a stand still catch and shoot shot. The player must line their footwork up and come into their shot balanced. With this basketball drill, the player will get a chance to repeat the footwork and shooting motion of coming into their shot.
A lot of players also struggle to shoot the basketball when they begin to get tired. Their form starts to go, and they begin to shoot off-balanced shots instead of getting all the way squared up. This basketball shooting drill will help the player practice good habits even when they are tired. Every shot needs to be shot the same way to build up good muscle memory.
