Steve Nash Two Ball Alternating Basketball Passing Drill

Steve Nash Two Ball Alternating Basketball Passing Drill

As a point guard or primary ball-handler, learning to pass off the dribble can add a lot of value to your game. As the level of competition increases, it becomes a necessity. It is so important because you are not always going to have a large window of time to get the pass in. Sometimes the offensive player will quickly pop open off of a down screen, back cut, etc., and you won’t have the time to pick the basketball up with both hands to make the pass. It is also important that the player can make the pass with either hand because the cutter could come open on either side of the floor.

This basketball passing drill will allow the player to get a lot of repetitions at this type of pass, and it is great because it can either be done in team training, or a player on their own could do it. Along with working on passing, this basketball drill will also have a ball-handling factor as well, which makes it a great basketball dribbling drill as well.
