Tennis Ball Toss Crossover Competition Basketball Drill

Tennis Ball Toss Crossover Competition Basketball Drill

This is an excellent tennis ball basketball dribbling drill to help you work on your handles and push you out of your comfort zone. By adding the competition element, you push the players to go even faster than they normally would. There will be more mistakes, but these mistakes are good because the players are trying to go faster than they normally would.

This is good because when they slow back down to normal speed, they will be even more comfortable handling the basketball. It is important that when you do different basketball drills, especially ball handling basketball drills, you are pushing yourself and challenging yourself to get better.

  • They are going to toss the tennis ball up in the air at their own pace, and while it is in the air, they are going to cross the basketball over to their other hand and then catch the tennis ball with the hand that just crossed the basketball over.
