This one ball basketball dribbling drill is great for keeping the basketball tight to your body while dribbling and scoring the basketball. If you are loose with the ball, you will invite the defender to pick your pockets. You won’t be able to concentrate on running the offense or seeing open teammates because you will be too nervous about the defender.
Also, if a defender steps in front of you or reaches for the basketball, you need to quickly change the basketball to your other hand. This basketball drill will help you get good at putting the ball from hand to hand in tight spaces where there is not a lot of room to dribble.
