Ball screens are a great way for post players to get a quality look at the basket. The better the screen is, the more the defense has to help out on the ball handler. This opens up the opportunity to space for a shot or role to the basket. None of this happens though unless the screener is able to come and set a great screen (and the ball handler is aggressive coming off of the screen).
This specific post ball screen drill is going to work on spacing after setting a ball screen. It is going to work on spacing for a shot, spacing for a rip through shot, and then spacing for a rip through finish at the basket. It is a great basketball post drill to work on the proper footwork of spacing after a screen and then executing the shot and the rip through move correctly.
