Here is a youth basketball training program designed for kids between 10-15 years old. Depending on the skill level of the kids, you may need to add or increase the difficulty on some of the different basketball drills in this workout. The first time you do this workout it may take longer because of having to explain the drills.
On the basketball shooting drills if the player is not strong enough to shoot the basketball the correct way than just skip over the drill. There is no point in practicing something the wrong way, it will only cause more damage than good. Some of the other drills may be challenging to the youth players as well, but that is okay. Just make sure that you are promoting effort and not results. It is okay if they don't know how to do the drill right away, but you need to make sure that you encourage them to give their best and the results will take care of themselves with time.
