For this West Virginia basketball play, you are going to keep setting pin downs in the paint and try to get a high post shot for one of the players posting up on the block. It is basically two wings spread high and then a triangle of players in the middle either posting up or coming off a pin down screen for a shot at the free throw line. Players that set the screens must be willing to head hunt and the players using the screen must set their defender up and come shoulder to shoulder with the screener. The idea is that eventually the defense will breakdown after the offense sets a number of good screens in a row. Basketball plays like this are great for promoting offensive player movement and ball movement.
