Ball screen basketball plays are all about setting a good screen and then just playing out of it. The defense will guard a ball screen in several different ways, so it is important that your players know how to handle each of the different ways that the screen may be guarded. If you can scout the other team’s ball screen defense before the game that will really help the ball handler out. It is also important that the ball handler takes the time to set up their defender, and takes a great angle to the screen.
