A good basketball play doesn’t always score right out of the set, but because it is run well it puts the defense out of position. This allows the offensive players to drive and kick and find open shooters or open big men. The goal for every out of bounds play should be to get a good shot off the catch or get immediately into the offense. Don’t waste dead ball opportunities, but use them as a chance to get your team organized and run a great set play.
