This inbound’s basketball play is good because it gets right into an offensive set. Every basketball inbound play should be a chance to score or directly into an offensive set. Don’t waste a potential scoring opportunity on simply just trying to get the basketball in. This play is going to make the defense have to fight through a baseline double screen. If run the right way (good screens and a hard cut) it should leave one of the players involved open to get the ball for a shot or finish at the basket.

Play Goal: Get the shooter an open look in the corner off of the baseline double.
Play Tips: Screeners need to head hunt and hit the shooters defender with a good screen. If the shooter’s defender goes over the screen the shooter should fade to the corner and if the defender chases on the screen the shooter should curl or straight cut.
