When you have a great basketball shooter it is important that you get him plenty of touches. Unfortunately, the defense usually knows that this is the game plan, and they will try to do their best to limit their touches. Screens and handoffs are great ways to get your shooter good looks. Basketball plays like this are great because they are going to involve a handoff to the shooter to get them the ball. It is important that the player who dribbles in for the handoff takes a good angle, and sets a good screen as the hand the ball off to the shooter.
