In the horns set, the point guard is going to have the ball at the top of the key out near half court. The big men are also at the top of the key, but on the lane lines extended, and the wings are spaced out to the side. There are lots of good scoring actions that you can run out of the horns sets. The key to running these sets the correct way though is spacing and setting good screens.

A couple really good actions that you can run out of the horns set is either a dribble hand off from the post player or a dribble at and backdoor cut by the wing player. For this to work the wing player must read their defender, set them up, and then make the correct cut. With the proper spacing this is a very hard basketball play for the defense to guard.
As mentioned there are some really good offensive sets that you can have your team run out of the horns offense, but there are a few keys that need to be stressed before running them. The first point of focus is going to be on the entry pass catch (if there is one). On this pass you want your players to be able to catch the ball in a scoring position, and not way out past the 3 point line. If the wing pass is being denied then the ball handler can dribble the wing player through, and then take their spot.
The next point of focus is going to be spacing and timing. You never want one defender to be able to guard two players. So the wing players need to stay wide and always be a threat to score. For the timing aspect of the play don’t make the receiver wait on the pass. As soon as they pop open or come off of a screen they need to receive the ball.
