In a close basketball game, it is important to be able to maximize all of your scoring opportunities. Sideline out of bounds basketball plays are a great chance to run set-offense and get quality shots. The reason why is because there is a dead ball and your team is able to gather together and all get set. A big key though is making sure that your players get set into their play as quickly as they can, this will keep the defense from getting organized. Look to get a shot directly off of the inbound pass, or get the ball in and get right into the offense, don’t waste opportunities.
