When a defender steps up to cut you off when dribbling, you need to be able to make a move without having to hesitate or think about it. This is a great basketball dribbling drill for working on this specific skill. It will give you the confidence to execute quick dribble moves without having to slow down and think about what you are about to do.
This combination basketball shooting drill also has a scoring aspect to it. The player will work on ball handling and attacking off the dribble for a pull-up shot or a finish at the basket. Basketball drills like this are great because they allow for working on multiple skills, all in the same drill.
