If you are looking for a great way to improve your handles and work on your hand-eye coordination, this is a great basketball drill to use. When you toss the tennis ball against the wall, you are forcing yourself to be able to do two things at the same time. This will really challenge your coordination and make you much more comfortable dribbling the basketball and looking up while you do.
The idea is that if you can dribble the basketball while tossing and catching a tennis ball, then you will be able to handle the basketball with ease in a game. That means that you will be able to focus on other things like cutters, reading the defense, etc.
