The overhead basketball pass is usually used when inbounding the basketball if you want to skip pass the ball to a teammate or on a post outlet pass. It is normally a longer distance pass, so make sure that you do not telegraph it. Don’t let the defense read your eyes and use a pass fake if you need to.
This basketball passing drill will teach you how to correctly do the overhead pass and teach a very simple drill for mastering this type of pass. A big key is making sure that you snap the pass and that the pass is accurate. This basketball drill will work specifically on both of those things.
