Reaction Inside Pivot Basketball Shooting Drill

Being a great shooter in basketball requires you to have good footwork. If you look at some of the great shooters in the NBA, you will see that they always get under the ball before they shoot. This allows them to jump straight up and down on their shot, which allows the shot to become a high percentage shot.

Basketball shooting drills like this are great for working on your shot, but they are also crucial for mastering footwork and having a strong base going into the shooting motion. This will be critical for players that are constantly moving without the basketball. You don’t want to receive a pass that you aren’t ready for. So you need to use basketball drills like this to make sure that you are always catching the ball coming into your shot, a rip through, or whatever. Great offensive basketball players are always reading the defense and thinking ahead about what you will do with the basketball when you get it.
