Many younger kids are not able to dribble a basketball with their eyes up and are constantly having to look down while dribbling. Tennis ball basketball dribbling drills are a great way to make them have to keep their heads up while dribbling. The reason why is because they have to focus on tossing and catching the tennis ball each time.
Not only will these types of basketball drills help players keep their eyes up, but they will also help develop their hand-eye coordination. So whether it is a guard or a post player, tennis ball dribbling drills work great for skill development.
